What Tanya Desai Is
Tanya Desai is a Vadodara-first listing platform. The website is built to organise local listings in a cleaner and more useful way by combining profile information, local-area context, direct contact options, safety guidance, reviews and moderation features in one experience.
The platform is intentionally focused on Vadodara at this stage. Local areas such as Alkapuri, Akota, Sayajigunj, Fatehgunj, Gotri, Manjalpur and other parts of the city can be used to organise listings without creating unnecessary or thin public pages.
Our Approach
The platform is structured around three priorities: clear discovery, user-controlled listings and safer browsing. Visitors should be able to understand what a listing contains, where it is located, how recently it was updated and which contact methods are available before deciding whether to make contact.
Clear discovery
Listings are presented with readable titles, images, local-area labels, category information, pricing where supplied and contact actions. Premium, featured and verified indicators may be used to distinguish certain listings, but visitors should still independently verify information before relying on it.
User-controlled listings
Registered users can create an account, submit listings, upload images, update listing information and manage their own ads through a single user dashboard. New and edited listings may be placed into a pending state for administrative review before they become publicly visible.
Moderation and safety
Users can report listings that appear misleading, duplicated, suspicious or inaccurate. Public reviews can also be submitted and may require moderation before publication. These systems are intended to improve the quality of the directory, but they do not replace independent verification by visitors.
How Listings Work
A listing may include a title, description, images, local area, category, price, age information and one or more contact methods. Listing owners are responsible for ensuring that the information they submit is accurate, lawful and authorised for publication.
When a user submits or edits a listing, Tanya Desai may review that listing before publication. The platform may also edit presentation elements, correct obvious formatting issues, reject unsuitable content, suspend listings or remove listings when necessary for platform quality or safety.
Our Role
Tanya Desai provides a digital directory and listing-management platform. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the platform is not a party to private arrangements between visitors and advertisers. Users are responsible for evaluating listings, communicating responsibly and making their own decisions.
Future Development
The current platform is built so that additional cities, categories, local areas, moderation tools and user features can be introduced later without changing the basic structure. For now, the public focus remains Vadodara.
